Dr. Latif is a Child/Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. A medical doctor who has completed her medical degree from a medical school and psychiatric training through a residency program.
Dr. Latif completed her five years of medical school training from Sind Medical College Pakistan. She completed three years adult psychiatric training at Creedmore Psychiatric Center affiliated with Columbia University. Dr. Latif also completed three years of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training at Harlem Hospital which is also affiliated with Columbia University.
Dr. Latif is fully trained to see adults, children and adolescents with stress related issues, mental health issues or behavior problems. She specializes in children and adolescent behavior difficulties such as but not limited to the following:
Attention Deficit Disorder
Oppositional Defiant Disorder
School related problems
Major Depression Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
During her first interview, she gathers information and data important to develop a suitable treatment plan. The session lasts for 45 minutes. If she is not able to father all the information she needed in the first session, a second session is planned. Then she shares her thoughts and feelings with you and presents the treatment plan to you.
