Education

Dr. Norris is the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at University of South Florida College of Medicine, LVHN’s academic affiliate.
He received a B.S. degree in biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, MA, and his M.D. degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. Dr. Norris completed his internship in Internal Medicine residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, and then his residency in Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. He also completed a Psychosomatic/Consultation Psychiatry Fellowship Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is certified in trans-cranial magnetic stimulation treatment.

Dr. Norris is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Fellow of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
