Abosede Lola Alao graduated from LeMoyne College with Bachelors in Nursing Cum Laud in 2008. She continued her education and received her Masters in Nursing with Advanced Practice Nursing from New Mexico State University in 2010. Lola worked with Dr Nasri Ghaly for 7 years after graduating and continues to provide professional support to Dr. Ghaly today. Her areas of clinical interest include Medication Management, Psychotherapy, and Christian Counseling. She has been certified in Healing Heart Wounds and joined Upstate Psychiatry in 2016.

Adekola Alao, MD, MRCPsych, FACL is a Professor of Psychiatry at the SUNY Upstate Medical University and a practicing psychiatrist at Upstate Psychiatry in Baldwinsville and Fayetteville NY. He completed his medical school at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and his Master’s degree at the University College, London, England. He completed his residency at the Oxford University, England in 1996 and at the SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1998. He has been on the faculty, department of Psychiatry at the SUNY Upstate Medical University since 1998 and worked as a Polytrauma and Rehabilitation Psychiatrist for 10 years at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. With over 35 years clinical experience as a physician, he has been named as one of the Best Doctors in United States yearly since 2007. He has more than 100 publications and presentations in scientific journals and he is passionate about mentoring medical students, residents and treating Military Veterans. He is medical student adviser at the Keuka learning community at the SUNY Upstate Medical University. His clinical interests include Consultation Liaison Psychiatry (he was the founding program director of the fellowship in Psychosomatic medicine at SUNY), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury and Addiction Medicine. He is board certified in Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Administrative Psychiatry. Dr. Alao believes in Holistic Treatment focusing on healing the mind, body and soul and not only in prescription medications. Dr Alao is also a personal trainer certified by World Institute of Training School.

Heidi Kinnally is an ANCC board certified nurse practitioner in psychiatry. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and Post Masters as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Upstate. Heidi has experience in medication management and psychotherapy with a wide variety of clients and diagnoses.
