Dr. Lucas Bachmann is a Dual Board Certified Psychiatrist in both Child and Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Bachmann is board eligible in Forensic Psychiatry. He received his undergraduate degree from Bethel University and is a medical graduate of the American University of the Caribbean.
Dr. Bachmann completed his residency in adult psychiatry at the University of Connecticut. He completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. He also completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the division of Law and Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine.
In addition to his work at Counseling Care, Dr. Bachmann is a forensic psychiatrist at the St. Peter, Minnesota Security Hospital.
Dr. Bachmann was an American Red Cross Mental Health Volunteer, for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort and volunteered for a Native American Health Care Clinic in Minnesota.

Dr. Bachmann is licensed to practice medicine in Minnesota.
