Rajan Gosain, MD, is a board certified adult psychiatrist at Rogers’ San Francisco location who provides care to adolescents and adults in partial hospital and intensive outpatient program settings. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a bachelor of arts in economics and earned his medical degree from the Saba University School of Medicine. He completed his general psychiatry residency training at Harvard South Shore and Tufts Medical Center. During his training, he served as a clinical fellow of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and clinical instructor in psychiatry at Tufts Medical School.
Dr. Gosain is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, International OCD foundation, and Clinical TMS Society. He has completed advanced training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy. He is the attending psychiatrist for Rogers’ TMS services in Walnut Creek, CA. He has an interest in incorporating meditation and mindfulness into his practice and received the VA Special Contribution Award as recognition of his leadership in the creation of a four-week meditation workshop for veterans in residential substance abuse treatment.
