Dr. Gupta received his medical degree from King George’s Medical College in India. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. He has been in private practice since 2001. Dr. Gupta has worked as a staff psychiatrist at the Greenleaf Center in Valdosta, Georgia. He has worked at Behavioral Health Services of South Georgia for several years.

He is a member of American Psychiatric Association.
