Board Certified Psychiatrist, Medical DirectorArnaldo E. Negrón, MD received his MD degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He completed residency training in Psychiatry in 1994 at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York. In 1994 he served as chief resident at the Bronx Psychiatric Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Neuropsychiatry and Biological Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1995. is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. He joined the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1995 and for six years he was involved in clinical research and academia.
AssociationsArnaldo E. Negrón, MD maintains a teaching appointment as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Medicine & Dentistry/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Negrón is the Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services and Vice Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Capital Health System in Trenton New Jersey. He has presented his clinical research in over fifty national and international research forums and published over fifteen publications in peer reviewed journals.

TMS CoordinatorJune Sweeney, RN BSN. Ms. Sweeney obtained her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in 1982 then returned to school for her RN licensure which she received in 1990. She has worked in mental health since 1983 in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. She has extensive experience and knowledge with both psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. In 2006, Ms. Sweeney was introduced to Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation a new technology that was being researched for treatment resistant depression. In 2011 she became a Neurostar trained treater and has been fortunate enough to be able to educate and treat patients who suffer from treatment resistant depression with this amazing technology. Since coming to Aroga she has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills regarding the role of genetic testing for better medication management and the use of Intranasal Ketamine in treating individuals who do not respond to traditional treatment for depression as well.
