Dr. Saeed attended medical school at Sindh Medical College at the University of Karachi and completed post-graduate training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Upon graduation from medical school, he received training in General Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas.

Dr. Saeed furthered his training during his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, also at UTMB. Recognized for his excellent clinical skills and leadership qualities, he was selected as the Medical Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UTMB. He subsequently went on to hold positions as the Chairman of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Mainland Medical Center Hospital in Texas City and the Medical Director of Deveraux Hospital in League City. He continues to practice in a variety of settings across the greater Houston area. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Saeed currently serves as the Medical Directory of Psychiatry at Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena.
