Dr. Alok Kumar joined Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers in 2017 as Medical Director of our Fairfax Center where he treats and oversees patient care. Dr. Kumar developed a special interest in TMS Therapy in 2012 and has since been treating patients with this modality. He is also the founding Medical Director at NeuroPsych Wellness Center, PC. and is currently an Attending Psychiatrist at Dominion Hospital and a Consulting Psychiatrist at Reston Hospital. Dr. Kumar is licensed in the State of Virginia and a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of Psychiatry, Galveston, Texas. He then completed his Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
