Dr. Courtney Chellew is a Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Bethlehem, PA. She is the Medical Director for Muhlenberg Adult and Pediatric Psychiatry program and currently works full time doing both adult and pediatric outpatient psychiatry. She received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey in 2005, and her D.O. degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010. Dr. Chellew completed residency training at the Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson in 2013, where she also served as chief resident during her final year of residency. She completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program at the Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson in 2015. She is certified in trans-cranial magnetic stimulation treatment.

She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Advocacy group, going to Washington DC to advocate for children’s mental health issues.

Dr. Zahid Islam is an inpatient attending psychiatrist working in the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. He received an MBBS degree in Medicine from Khulna Medical College, Bangladesh in 2002. Dr. Islam completed his residency in psychiatry at the Bergen Regional Medical Center, NJ. He is also active in the treatment resistant depression program as is certified in electro-convulsive therapy and trans-cranial magnetic stimulation.

Dr. Norris is the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at University of South Florida College of Medicine, LVHN’s academic affiliate. He received a B.S. degree in biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, MA, and his M.D. degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. Dr. Norris completed his internship in Internal Medicine residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, and then his residency in Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. He also completed a Psychosomatic/Consultation Psychiatry Fellowship Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is certified in trans-cranial magnetic stimulation treatment.

Dr. Ralph Primelo is Vice Chair for Quality and Safety in the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at University of South Florida College of Medicine, LVHN’s academic affiliate. He received his Bacholar of Arts degree fro the College of the Holy Cross in 1981 and his M.D. degree from Tufts University School of medicine in 1986. He completed a Transitional Internship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO and his Residency in Psychiatry at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC as an active duty Captain in the US Army. At Walter Reed he served as Chief Resident for Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. He is certified in trans-cranial magnetic stimulation treatment.

Dr. Leticia Velivis is a Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. She received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2010, and her MD degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2014. Dr. Velivis completed her residency training at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson in 2018, where she also served as chief resident during her final year. She was recruited to Lehigh Valley Health Network in 2018. Her current role is in consultation liaison and outpatient psychiatry.
