Pragnesh Patel, MD, is a Florida licensed Board-certified General/Adult Psychiatrist. He served as lead resident in department of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in 2015. He also served as Vice-chair of Medicine at Tampa Community Hospital between 2016-18. He is currently very active with his clinical services at Tampa Community Hospital and Memorial Hospital of Tampa, and provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment and addiction treatment. He offers traditional treatment including psychopharmacological and psychotherapy. He also now offers and specializes in alternative treatment such as Electroconvulsive treatment (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for treatment resistant depression.
